Il propose de jouer seul ou à plusieurs, sur une même machine ou en ligne et d'incarner les plus grandes stars du tennis mondial tels que Nadal, Federer et Murray chez les hommes ou Ivanovic chez les dames. De plus, cette édition comprend un éditeur de joueurs qu'il est possible de personnaliser grâce aux 800 objets du Tennis Store. Enfin, pour la première fois dans l'histoire de la série, le jeu s'appuie sur la licence Coupe Davis.
