Le développeur Playerkp420 a mis en ligne un custom firmware DualBoot sur base du firmware officiel 4.81 de Sony. Attention, ce type de CFW se destine uniquement à ceux qui souhaitent profiter du PSN, ou du live, en toute sécurité ou bien ceux qui souhaitent jouer avec un jeu officiel sur le PSN sans pour autant perdre la possibilité d'installer un vrai CFW avec possibilité d'installer du code non signé.
C'est l'équivalent du Ferrox DualBoot qui va probablement voir sa disponibilité effective dans les prochains jours. Comme son nom l'indique (mal) le DualBoot est un CFW qui permet aux utilisateurs de CFW de passer sur un OFW a peine retouché, puisqu'il n'accepte que de repasser sur un CFW. Il n'intègre aucun patch peek and poke, aucune optimisation, et ne permet pas de lancer les homebrews, il l'un des moyen le plus safe d'utiliser le PSN, tout en gardant la capacité de revenir sur un CFW standard. Il ne permet donc pas vraiment de profiter de toutes les possibilités des CFW, mais il est annoncé comme le moyen le plus sûr de se connecter sur le PSN/SEN.

Then you can play as you are on OFW. Then when you wish to go back to CFW, insert CFW HDD, and install your favorite CFW. It is important to keep your DB OFW HDD free of any homebrew apps. To prevent Sony from seeing them. Keep all your CFW stuff on your CFW HDD.I personally tested this on my CECH-2501A, and my CECHA01. On both I went from Darknet 4.81 v1.00 to Playerkp420 DB OFW 4.81. Then back to Darknet 4.81 v1.00.It is recommended anyway to boot to recovery menu after switching HDDs and installing either DB OFW or CFW with Option 6 every time you want to switch.Don't just switch HDDs, because then your NOR/NAND Flash will still have CFW and you will risk ban from PSN.
Malgré que ce CFW soit très proche d'un OFW, il n'en est pas un, donc le risque de ban est toujours présent.
