La limitation du 1 To d'espace de stockage sur un disque dur, qui limité la PS2 à cette capacité. C'est probablement la plus grosse évolution de ces dernières années sur PS2, la console sera désormais limité à 2 To.
Pour faire sauter cette limite il faut utiliser la dernière version de uLaunchElf 4.43a (2-TeraByte Edition), aussi connue sous le nom de ULE-2TB, développée par SP193 et spiderman.
