Bon, La mise à jour à corriger certains BUGs, mais le fonctionnement est loin d'être aussi bon qu'avec les v4.20.

Lorsque je lance un un jeu ça freeze au bout de 15s...

petit retour sur mise à jour MCU 1.9....

 

 - Jeux Freeze  sur les vidéos ou en début de parti.

- Clé USB ou disque USB sont reconnu... parfois oui parfois non ( en faite c'est quand il veut)...

- Plus de freeze sur XMB ( c'est déjà bien)

- Manager plante moins...

du coup tu passe sur quel produit ?

Le client veus partir sur un ODE COBRA QSV, normalement il devrait pas y avoir de problème avec cette version.. j'ai quand même commander un E3... on sait jamais

LA version 4.30 m'a dépiter.... J'ai eu du mal à faire jouer la garantie, le fabriquant la refuse sistématiquement ( c'est ce que m'a dit le revendeur...) donc il me rembourse les deux ODE que je lui ai acheter et qui ne fonctionne pas.

Je ferai un retour de la version QSV.

C'est un  soucis d’installation... j'ai jamais vus de cobra défectueux,

 

Je suis à des dizaines d'installation sans soucis, pour crash aussi il a jamais eu de soucis donc...

des soucis de fabrication sa peux arriver

0% de rebut dans une ligne de production n'existe pas , et la fabrication Made in ch**a on pas les meme contrainte que le Made in France

 

cependant j'ai effectivement monter X ODE Cobra & X E3pro et pour le moment pas de problème.

je viens de recevoir L'ODE COBRA QSV, installation et essais OK... tous les jeux passe et plus de FREEZE.....

J'en connais un qui vas être content depuis le temps qu'il attend....

Donc c'était bien cette foutu version 4.30 qui BUG......

@ Savi :  Tu pourrais me dire si t'avait commandé en france ou ailleurs tes ODE défecteux ?  Si c'est ailleurs, t'a galéré à renvoyer, et t'a du renvoyer en premier les défectueux pour recevoir les nouveaux?

J'ai commandé sur LS STORE donc en ESPAGNE...
J'ai retourné les COBRA défectueux après avoir contacter le vendeur et eu son accord de retour.

La prise en garantie par contre à été plus dur à négocier car d'après le vendeur, son fournisseur ne voulais pas admettre que les produits était défect....

Mais Lucien à fait un geste et m'a remboursé quand même...j'ai pref; un remboursement car je voulais pas me retrouver encore avec des version 4.30 et galéré...

 

Pour le prix cela dépend de la destination, moi cela m'a couter 15€ ( en colissimo)  pour l’Espagne.

Hello, i bought 2 COBRA ODE ( v 4.30) that i tried to install on PS3 CECH 2504B.
The first that i bought, The both connectors (FFCEXCH and MS QSB) were desoldering to the board and when i can to use it, le green LED just twinkle one time.
I replaced it by the second one, and this one dont want to recognize the same USB key or USB HDD everytime. In EMU mode, often the PS3 freeze on XMB or dont want to boot in the XMB when the USB is connected.
I succeeded to acces to the ODE manager and launched two Games two times.
I checked all my assmbly many times, and i made back my soldering on QSB.
But the ODE don't want to work correctly in EMU mode. The PASSTHRU mode wok correctly.
I checked to the USB key and HDD USB format ( i try in NTFS and FAT 32), the files  for ODE,  the directory and the ISOs files many times.
But it doesn't want to work perfectly.

Hello,

***WARNING***

Always use the latest Installation Manual (English) official version that
reflect installation instruction for your Cobra ODE PCB revision. Visit
our download section for more details.

NOTE: (For PS3 FAT only!) Please make sure that your drive controller is
not BMD-21, we are not currently compatible with this one.

NOTE: Ensure to isolate your PCB with double sided adhesive Cobra ODE
sticker.

PS3 setup:  Soon as your console is properly connected and double checked
to ensure that cables used match your "PCB revision" according to our
latest PDF online, then connect all required wires "video" and "POWER
CABLE" etc. (If your model offer back power switch then turn this one ON)
you should get "RED LED" from the external Cobra ODE board due to the fact
that nothing is connected to USB for now.

>From now position the deep switch to the "Pass Trough" mode and try your
normal disc operation.(Please unsure that your DISC is one of the
compatible BOOT DISC require as mentioned in our PDF.) If all goes well
with normal original disc, while you are in PT mode we suggest to upgrade
your PS3 firmware to (4.50) the latest version supported by Cobra-ODE for
best compatibility with all games. (Use "PS3 USB port" with memory stick.)

Close your PS3, switch to "EMULATION" mode and check if you can see the
Cobra manager ICON with error message about the HDD if yes then continue
with "USB setup" bellow. Otherwise please verify your installation before
going any further something must be wrong with your cable (and/or
soldering for specific model).Please ensure that your RED & BLACK split
cable replacement are connected in the proper side as identified for your
model.

USB setup: Make sure that your "ENCLOSURE" is freshly formated and
properly set. Create "COBRA" folder and put only manager.iso and cobra.db
files inside. Create PS3_GAMES folder and don't put any ISO for now. Plug
your USB enclosure to the EXTERNAL Cobra ODE board USB2 connector and
power on your enclosure. At this time you should see after short moment
the RED LED Should turn GREEN.

If you can't get the LED to turn GREEN then we suggest to try with another
ENCLOSURE and ensure that this one have external power supply or try with
different USB key and repeat the USB setup until you get GREEN LED.

Currently our compatibility with USB HDD enclosure is not 100%. Our
engineers are working hard to increase the compatibility, if you
experience such kind of issue:

* USB HDD detection
* Cobra-ODE update process
* Lagging video
* USB HDD fall in sleep mode (That may cause you game to crash or freeze)

HDD over 2TB need to be formated in GPT mode (GUI PARTITION TABLE) it may
work to some extend but for a better compatibility support we suggest to
try with external HDD enclosure with 2TB OR LESS formated in "FAT32" and
preferably enclosure with his own external power supply that is always
better and require less power from your PS3.

NOTE: If you are not able to format from windows you can try to use
freeware tool such as "FAT32Format", "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool" or
"swissknife" that can be find easily via Google.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE :

Q: When I connect the power, the PS3's LED turns off
A: If on a SATA model, make sure you used the right side cables between
the motherboard and the ODE and the ODE and the drive. Also make sure you
connected the power cable in the right direction for the ODE. If an HDD is
inserted, try using the USB Y Cable. Also make sure the ODE is properly
isolated using the double sided sticker.

Q: PT works, but not EMU:
A: You used the wrong cable, for PATA, invert the two cables, for the QSB,
use the opposite-side cable between the QSB and the ODE.

Q: EMU works, but not PT:
A: You are probably using the QSB and one of the pins on the QSB was not
soldered correctly.

Q: When I insert the HDD, the PS3 shuts down:
A: The HDD uses too much power, (If provided with package)use the USB Y
Cable to provide it with additional power or use enclosure with his own
external power supply

Q: I use the USB Y cable but the PS3 still shuts down when I insert the HDD:
A: Alternatively, you can connect a mini-usb cable to the mini-usb port on
the clip-on PCB and use a wall charger to power the board.

Q: There is no disc icon when I boot the PS3:
A: Your cables are not connected correctly, or you used the wrong type of
cable, or the QSB was not soldered properly.

Q: I get error 8001003E when I try to run a game :
A: You generated the iso with an old version of genps3iso tool. Download
the latest version from www.cobra-ode.com and regenerate your iso file.

Q: When I run the game, it shows error 80010007 or returns to the XMB
directly:
A: You generated your iso using a modified rip. DUPLEX releases will
modify the EBOOT.BIN which makes them invalid, there will usually be a
BOOT.BIN.ORIG file in the rip, simply replace the EBOOT.BIN with the
original file and regenerate your iso.


If all have been double check and you can't get any USB device to work and
the Cobra-ODE external board never show the "GREEN LED" or there is "NO
LED ACTIVITY AT ALL" or the product is not properly functioning then you
may have a defective unit. Any request concerning "defective unit"  you
must contact your distributor directly.

Eh bien ils ne se font pas chier : renvoyer le pack complet alors que leur Manuel Technique demande de souder un QSB ^^

 

Bon je pense que je suis bon pour une commande et contre-tester cette puce vraisemblablement défectueuse...  Pas envie de perdre du temps  là-dessus

j'ai suivi les conseil de crash251 et j'ai mis à la place la version QSV... et là ça à fonctionner du premier coup....

 

Je suis pas convaincu par leur version 4.30...

 

 De plus j'ai pris un E3pro aussi pour faire un essais et voire ce qu'il vaut.

Il me semble qu'il y a moins de retour sur ce dernier.
