Initialement développé par oDD et Lantus, Surreal64 est une compilation de trois émulateurs Nintendo 64 à l'origine pour win32 à savoir : 1964, Project64 et UltraHLE. C'est la Team XXX qui a continué le projet en développant Surreal64 CE. Aujourd'hui ce sont Ez0n3, freakdave et weinerschnitzel qui nous proposent une mise à jour de cet émulateur : Surreal64 CE B5.5. Leur objectif étant de reprendre le travail là où la Team XXX l'avait laissé et de perfectionner leur logiciel tant au niveau technique qu'au niveau esthétique, ils apportent à cette nouvelle version des améliorations considérables.
