In consequence if your dashboard is no up to date, the game will ask for the update without the possibility to install it corretly. (Bug of the update loop).
To prevent it, 2 solutoins :
- Make the update of the dashboarg through an usb key
- Tick the option "keep the update", to make the game able to update it by itself

when you patch a game, you remove the update which is on the DVD.

So if i tick "keep the update" the wave remains the original one but the old firmwares can't read it. To avoid this we can update the dashboard via usb and than patch both, game and PFI, to the wave our xbox can read. Is that right?

Does exist a patch for the game that require mandatory the new dash (kinect) to start them in the old dash (9199)?

not excatly.
In fact in the DVD Game structure, we have a wave in 2 parts.
First part to identify a wave is the PFI
Second part to identify a wave is the Video Partition
Since the beginning of waves we have it :
TheWave -------- PFI ----- Video Part Wave 1 1 1 Wave 2 2 2 Wave 3 3 3 Wave 4 4 4 (Since the wave 4, the Video partition includes one part of the systemupdate file)* Wave 5 4 5 Wave 6 4 6 Wave 7 4 7 Wave 8 8 8 Wave 9 9 9The iXtreme firmware checks only the PFI to know if it should run the game or not.
In consequence, when you patch from Wave 8 to Wave 3 for example :
- Without the option (keep the update) : You will patch PFI wave 3 and video Part Wave 3 also
- ticking the option (keep the update) : You will patch PFI Wave 3 and keep the video part at Wave 8.
In consequence, old firmwares will be able to run the game patched in wave 3, and will be able to run the update itself if the option was ticked before patch.

PS : We can't remove completly the update cause the main part is in Game partition. If you remove it, you break the signature of the partition and so the game will not run. If we remove only the second part of the update (the one in the video partition), the update will start then fail, and the game doesn't start

merci de ta réponse ^^ sinon sur un autre poste tu avais marqué "Vous remarquerez également une nouvelle option "Conserver la mise à jour", qui vous permet de ne patcher que le PFI de votre ISO, vous évitant ainsi le bug de l'update loop, si votre console n'est pas à jour." donc dans le cas ou nous somme en beta et qu'on utilise un jeux kinect patcher sans cette case ce jeu nous ne demandera plus d'exécuter une maj?ou je suis à l'ouest lolelle enlève rien du tout

Pour un benq en 1.61 sur dash beta kinect on doit patché en quel wave les jeux en wave 8 et 9? Ou mieux vaut-il passer le lecteur en LT 1.2 peut etre?

salut soul croit tu que se soit possible de faire un patch pour l'ap 2.5 qui tu intergre dans 360 wave patcher.
